Nestling in a valley at the foot of the Maures Hills lies Pachacaid
a brilliant new concept in open air villages. It basks in the sunshine and tranquillity of the verdant wooded valley just a short distance from the illustrious and internationally famous resort of
St. Tropez. By day there are short drives to the beautiful, unspoilt villages of
Gassin, Grimaud, Ramatuelle, Bormes les Mimoses and the enchanting 'Little Venice' -
Port Grimaud.
The site has been imaginatively landscaped around the superb Californian-style water sports complex, with no less than seven water slides, a jacuzzi and a most magnificent twin-island swimming pool with sunbathing areas and a children's pool together with a paddling pool. The use of the swimming pool is free but there is a small charge for the water slides, jacuzzi and also for the two tennis courts on site. The water sports complex is also open to the public.
There is an excellent bar/restaurant opening up on to the 'chic' piazza-style sun terrace, which serves delicious French cuisine at modest prices. Satellite television is also available in the bar from May.
Also on the site is a shop, useful for your everyday needs, with take-away facilities available. Washing machines are situated in the Shower/Toilet areas on the Park and tokens are available from Reception. Drying machines can also be found in the same areas.
For the young at heart there is a subterranean disco, alternatively for those not so energetic, sit on your patio, where many a memorable evening may be spent sipping a refreshing drink under the star spangled Mediterranean sky.
It must be mentioned that since Pachacaid is situated in a valley it is not flat and is, therefore, not ideally suitable for disabled clients.
